This magnificient ancient city, famous for its white colour formed by the thermal springs of the nearby mountains, is named Pamukkale which means ‘COTTON CASTLE’. Enjoy visiting the ruins of Hierapolis, the Temple of Apollo, Necropolis and walk over the marvelous calcium terraces of this magnificient city. Relax when you are swimming in the thermal waters of Cleopatra antique pool located in the Hierapolis ancient city.
Laodicea ancient city located 10 km far away from Hierapolis was settled in the valley of Lycus river in the 3th century BC of Hellenistic period. İt was an important and strategic trade and cultural center for a long time both in the Greek and Roman period. Enjoy visiting magnificient ancient sites of Zeus Temple, baths, gymnasium, theatres and bouleuterian which is the modern-day senate house.
